Gi Classes

The Gi is the term for Jiu-Jitsu's Kimono (Uniform). Gi Jiu-Jitsu is typically a little slower in pace and is highly technical. Your defensive skills are dramatically improved by training in the Gi.

No Gi Classes

No Gi are classes where we aren't wearing the traditional kimono, we typically wear a rash-guard and shorts. No Gi Jiu-Jitsu is typically more fluid and dynamic than in the Gi. Your offensive skills are dramatically improved by training No Gi.

JUSTIN

Assistant Coach

Coach Justin has a combined 18 years of martial arts experience across several disciplines. He began studying Seven-Star Mantis kung fu, contemporary wushu, and traditional lion dance. An early emphasis on kickboxing led him to Muay Thai and Sanshou, a kickboxing style that incorporates wrestling and take-down techniques. He has been studying jiu jitsu for the last two years and looks forward to sharing his experience with young martial artists as he continues to grow within the sport.
